ASHLEY E. BOYD was born in Houston, Texas in 1983. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of North Texas in 2006, summa cum laude, where she majored in English and minored in Political Science. While at North Texas, she was a member of the NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball Team. She received her J.D. and Civil Law certificate, from Tulane University Law School, during which time she served as the managing editor of the Sport’s Lawyers Journal. While at Tulane, she was awarded with the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Injured Employee Compensation and Tort Remedies. She also studied Maritime law in Rhodes, Greece in 2007. She joined Staines & Eppling as an associate in 2009. She is a member of the Mariners Club Port of New Orleans and is admitted to practice before all Louisiana state courts.
