Jason R. Kenney

Jason Kenney is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana.  He received a Bachelor of Science from Louisiana State University and thereafter, earned his Juris Doctorate from Tulane University Law School.   During law school, he was an active board member of the Tulane Moot Court, was the Moor Court Junior Trial Champion, a Senior Trial Competition semi-finalist.  Jason has practiced maritime law since his admission to the bar, has been a guest lecturer in various areas in the field, including Jones Act claims, negligence, maintenance and cure, punitive damages, seaman status, the McCorpen defense, and contributory negligence for failure to disclose a medical condition.  Jason has also tried maritime personal injury cases and collision/allision cases in both federal and state court.  He is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeal, Fifth Circuit, United States District Courts, Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana and all Louisiana state courts.  He is the father of two sons.
