Ashley Hull Boyd was born in Houston, Texas.  She received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Texas, where she was a member of the NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball team.  Thereafter, she earned her Juris Doctorate from Tulane University School of Law.   While in law school, she served as the managing editor of the Sport’s Law Journal and was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Injured Employee Compensation and Tort Remedies.  Ashley is also an avid defender of the Second Amendment and offers legal services in conjunction with the formation of NFA Trusts to those who wish to acquire firearms registered pursuant to the National Firearms Act.  She is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeal, Fifth Circuit, United States District Courts, Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana and all Louisiana state courts.  She is married and is the mother of one son and one daughter.
